Gluten-free Bread (Basic recipe)

Ingredients

  • 500 g bread flour (gluten-free)
  • 50 g linseed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • half teaspoon salt
  • half teaspoon brown sugar
  • 10g brewer’s yeast
  • 500 ml water

Who doesn’t like fresh-baked bread’s aroma? Home will definitely smell nice after baking bread and all can enjoy it hot and fresh.

Bread maker is a machine with which you will recoup your money almost right away.
If you don’t have one maybe you should consider it.
It kneads and bakes by itself.
It will definitely unbind your hands.
The ingredients below are for a bread maker but you can make the recipe using just a mixer or kneading with your hands.

Method

Pulse linseed to break the seeds. If they are already bought grounded, mix them directly with flour.

Warm the water and dissolve the sugar and brewer’s yeast.

For the bread maker follow the basic instructios.

Add the rest of the ingredients in the bread maker, add the water and yeast mixture and start the machine in basic programm.
After 3 hours we’ll have our nicely smell bread.

Without bread maker/ with mixer or in hand:

Knead the dough.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and knead until the dough becomes sticky. (in my opinion a mixer is preferable as this dough will
hardly unstick from our hands and will become rough)
Set aside for at least 3/4 of an hour, covered with a towel or plastic wrap to rise.
Knead again and transfer into a tin (sprikled with oil and some flour).
Set aside for at least 1 hour until it rises and bake at preheated oven for 40 minutes.

Let it cool and take it out of the tin.

We can add some sesame if we like along with linseed for bigger seed variety and more taste.

The combinations are endless. This is the basic recipe for bread making. Good luck…
