Chilled desert with anthotyro cheese and strawberry jam
Ingredients
- 300 g ladyfingers cookies
- 250 g whipped cream sugar-free
- 600 g anthotyro cheese
- 200 g sugar
- 200 g strawberry jam
- 60 g fresh strawberries
- some milk – about 50g (to soak ladyfingers)
Chilled desert with anthotyro cheese and strawberry jam. This type of cheese is a fresh unsalty cheese, traditional of Greece.
A tasteful recipe that you can enjoy with a little effort.
A greek version of the quick and easy cheesecake.
Chilled, summer, greek and very nutritious dessert for all occasions.

Method
In a mixer bowl, mix the anthotyro cheese and sugar for 2-3 minutes until the cheese softens.
Add the wipped cream and mix for 5 minutes until the mixture rises and “holds”.
In a baking pan (37cmx25cm) spread the ladyfingers (after we have soaked in milk for few minutes)
Pour the cream and spread.
You can keep some cream for decoration.
Pour the strawberry jam and spread it to cover the whole surface.
If we have spare ladyfingers, we can chop them and decorate our dessert.
Decorate with fresh strawberries and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Serve!!
